Jasmine’s Tea Party unites queer artists

Jasmine Tea and the Barber Streisand host Jasmine’s Tea Party, a performance showcase, will be at Ten Tigers Parlour (3813 Georgia Ave., N.W.) on Sunday, July 9 from 5-10 p.m.

There will be segments of performances including drag, spoken word and poetry at and 8 p.m. Throughout the evening local queer artists such as Jasmine Tea, BratWorst, Vita Santa Mamaita and Seraphim will perform music. Jacq Jill and the Barber Streisand will spin tracks. Guests are encouraged to wear outfits that express themselves. Admission is free.
