Out showrunner Bryan Fuller has slammed the trailer for the upcoming Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” for erasing Freddie Mercury’s sexuality and AIDS diagnosis.

In a clip from the trailer, Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton) jumps into Freddie Mercury’s (Rami Malek) arms.

“ANYONE ELSE MILDLY ANNOYED (enough to tweet about it) THAT THE #BohemianRapsody TRAILER FEATURES GAY/BI SUPERSTAR FREDDIE MERCURY FLIRTING WITH AND TWIRLING WITH A WOMAN BUT NO INDICATION OF HIS LOVE OF MEN?” Fuller, who has created “Hannibal” and “Pushing Daisies,” tweeted.

The trailer does include a brief clip of Mercury flirting with another man but the scene is much shorter.

Fuller also took issue with the film’s official synopsis which describes Mercury’s AIDS diagnosis as  “a life-threatening illness” but does not name the disease.

“Dear 20th Century Fox .. Yes, it was a life-threatening illness, but more specifically it was AIDS. From having gay sex with men. Do better,” Fuller tweeted.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” hits theaters on November 2.
