‘Queer Eye’ goes to Japan for mini-series
The Fab Five will film four episodes
The Fab Five is headed to Japan.
Netflix announced that “Queer Eye” will take over Japan for a four-episode mini-series.
The boys will “work with local tastemakers to make-better a new group of heroes, while they learn and experience Japanese cuisine, fashion, design, grooming and culture firsthand in a four-episode special,” Netflix shared on Twitter.

Bobby Berk, Tan France,Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski and Karamo Brown all posted photos on Instagram from Japan hinting that the group is currently filming.
The show has gone international before. They also visited Australia for a mini-episode. “Queer Eye” took place in Georgia for the first two seasons and will be in Kansas City, Missouri for the third season.
Equality Prince William Pride was held at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, Va. on Saturday, May 16.

Ashley Biden accepts award for Beau Biden at annual Rehoboth fundraiser
The 19th annual Blade Foundation Summer Kickoff Party was held on Friday, May 15 at Diego’s in Rehoboth Beach, Del. An award presentation was held for former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden. Ashley Biden accepted the award on her brother’s behalf and gave remarks. Other speakers included Delaware state Rep. Claire Snyder-Hall, CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director Dr. Robin Brennan and Washington Blade Editor Kevin Naff. The event was a fundraiser for the Steve Elkins Memorial Fellowship in Journalism.
