OutWrite’s Second Chapbook Competition runs until June 5. There is no fee to enter works of LGBTQ fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Writers may only submit one entry per category.

This year’s judges include 2019 PEN Open Book Award winner Tyrese Coleman for nonfiction, Hurston/Wright and Lambda award finalist Rivers Solomon for fiction, and 2019 Lambda Literary Fellow Faylita Hicks for poetry.

The winner in each category will receive 25 copies of their winning chapbook, a print publication offer from Neon Hemlock Press, and an opportunity to read their work at the OutWrite 2020 LGBTQ literary festival held July 31-Aug. 2.
