Sam Greisman, Sally Field’s son, finally met figure skater Adam Rippon after Field put her wing woman skills to the test to set them up.

Greisman, 30, first announced his attraction to Rippon, 28, in a tweet during the Winter Olympics.

“Gonna need a gif of @Adaripp saying he just wants to focus on being America’s Sweetheart for my daily use. Please and thank you,” Greisman tweeted. “Also marry me Adam.”

Greisman later tweeted a screenshot of a text conversation with his mother encouraging him to reach out to Rippon.

Field went a step further and tagged Rippon in the tweet.

Rippon heard about Field’s attempts to set up her son but explained on “The View” that he’s “been so busy after the Olympics” and hadn’t connected with Greisman.

The pair was finally able to meet in person during the Human Rights Campaign gala in Los Angeles on Saturday. Greisman captioned a photo of himself with Rippon, “Thanks, mom.”

Rippon was honored with HRC’s Visibility Award, presented by fellow Olympian Gus Kenworthy, at the gala and spoke about “the most liberating experience” of his life.

“I can remember the first time I shared with someone I was gay and I could feel this huge weight being lifted off of my shoulders,” Rippon told the crowd.”I felt reborn. I like to talk about my coming out because coming out has been the most liberating experience of my life.”

He added, “I hope that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, has their own coming-out experience. When you can share who you are with the world, you will find great power.”
