Fast Five Fix: June 22

By on June 22, 2012

Good morning! Got your coffee? Here’s some news:

Uganda bans pro-gay groups, closes offices, tells pro-gay NGOs to leave, according to CNN (via Newser).

CBC says that Canada’s cannibal gay porn killer is requesting a jury trial and a psych evaluation (h/t Queerty).

Frenchie Davis tells the Saint Louis Dispatch she’s in love with a girl. Did I miss something? (h/t Towleroad).

Queerty has the story of an amazing trans-masculine athlete named Keelin Godsey didn’t make his Olympic trials, but helped spur major change in the games.

Finally, think twice before you ask your next hookup if he is “clean” or not. You may be adding to the stigma that so many HIV+ guys experience, and that fuels the ignorance about HIV that helps it spread.
