Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato honored the Orlando shooting victims during the Orlando stop of their “Future Now” tour on Saturday.
Jonas and Lovato were joined by R&B singer Andra Day for a group prayer. The trio then sang a rendition of Day’s song “Rise Up.” Names of the victims and their ages scrolled across the screen behind them. “The Voice” contestant Christina Grimmie, who was murdered one day before the Pulse nightclub shooting, was included in the list.
“Got to pay tribute to the victims, survivors, and all those affected by the Pulse shooting in Orlando with two of my favorite people last night, @nickjonas and @ddlovato,” Day captioned a photo of the performance on Instagram. “Thank you for having me. Orlando our prayers, love, and support are with you.”
Jonas and Lovato invited Pulse nightclub staff members to attend the show for free and held a meet and greet.
