Fashion designer Marc Jacobs weds Char Defrancesco
Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss among wedding guests

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs married Char Defrancesco in a ceremony filled with celebrity guests in New York City on Saturday.
Jacobs, 55, and Defrancesco, a 35-year-old candlemaker, said their “I dos” in front of models Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Kaia Gerber, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, Emily Ratajkowski and Amber Valletta, singers Maya and Rita Ora, rapper Lil Kim, actresses Christina Ricci and Chloe Sevigny and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, among others.
Jacobs proposed to Defrancesco on Defrancesco’s birthday last April at Chipotle with a surprise flash mob to “Kiss” by Prince.
Equality Prince William Pride was held at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, Va. on Saturday, May 16.

Ashley Biden accepts award for Beau Biden at annual Rehoboth fundraiser
The 19th annual Blade Foundation Summer Kickoff Party was held on Friday, May 15 at Diego’s in Rehoboth Beach, Del. An award presentation was held for former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden. Ashley Biden accepted the award on her brother’s behalf and gave remarks. Other speakers included Delaware state Rep. Claire Snyder-Hall, CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director Dr. Robin Brennan and Washington Blade Editor Kevin Naff. The event was a fundraiser for the Steve Elkins Memorial Fellowship in Journalism.
