State Dept. hosts travel panel

WASHINGTON—The State Department on Feb. 20 will host a roundtable discussion on LGBT-specific travel issues.

The agency’s Bureau of Consular Affairs panel is part of the State Department’s Smart Traveler Day outreach to address specific issues and concerns of those who plan to travel overseas. A State Department spokesperson said “high-level government officials and representatives from the travel industry” are expected to attend.
