DancETHOS and Deviated Theatre present “Diverse Artistic Voices” on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center at Montgomery College (7995 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, Md.).
As its name suggests, Deviated Theatre is a pioneering dance company that departs from the norm, utilizing contemporary dance and circus skills to tell stories. DancEthos is committed to creating dance pieces that are accessible to non-dance audiences, reflecting on the beliefs and spirit of American culture in a way that brings people together.
The dance show will explore a variety of themes from diverse perspectives, including issues of love and romance, ageing, humanity’s mythological obsession with the end of the world and the role of unconscious memories in defining people’s lives.
General admission is $20. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit either dancethos.org or deviatedtheatre.org.
