The DC Center held its Fall Reception at City Market at O on Thursday, Sept. 18. Honorees included MPD Sgt. Jessica Hawkins, Sterling Washington of the Mayor’s Office of GLBT Affairs and Wilson High Principal Pete Cahall.

Denali (@denalifoxx) of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” performed at Pitchers DC on April 9 for the Thirst Trap Thursday drag show. Other performers included Cake Pop!, Brooke N Hymen, Stacy Monique-Max and Silver Ware Sidora.

A “No Kings” demonstration was held in Anacostia on Saturday to protest the Trump administration. Speakers at the rally included LGBTQ activist, Rayceen Pendarvis. Following the rally, demonstrators marched across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
