Elton John accuses Janet Jackson of lip-syncing
British singer attacks ‘Unbreakable’ songstress
Elton John isn’t impressed with pop diva Janet Jackson’s concert skills.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, John says he doesn’t understand the praise for Jackson.
“You know, fucking music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ‘This is the greatest show — four and a half stars,’” John told Rolling Stone. “It’s fucking lip-synced. Hello. That’s not a show. I’d rather go and see a drag queen. Fuck off.”
John also shared his opinion on men dressing in drag.
“There’s something about British men that can’t wait to get into drag,” John continued.“I’m very fortunate to have grown up in Britain, which has a very lethal and wicked black sense of humor.”
John released his new album “Wonderful Crazy Night” this month. Jackson is currently on her Unbreakable tour. She drops by D.C. at the Verizon Center on Aug. 9 and Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore on Aug. 14.
