Carson Kressley reveals he dated an NFL player
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ judge says he dated Esera Tuaolo
Carson Kressley revealed he once had a romantic relationship with a NFL player, one who even went to the Super Bowl, while speaking to TMZ.
TMZ asked Kressley what he thought about the idea that gay men can’t play football. Kressley responded “That’s insane” and said he had dated a professional football player who went to the Super Bowl.
Kressley told TMZ the player was Esera Tuaolo, a defensive tackle player who played in the NFL for eight years and went to the Super Bowl as part of the Atlanta Falcons, and that the two remain friends. Tuaolo came out after retiring in 1999.
The television personality went on to say he didn’t agree with the stereotype that gay men can’t play sports and can only do cook, clean or do hair.
Kressley is currently a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
