HBO releases ‘Looking’ movie trailer

show bids farewell in feature-length film

HBO released the trailer for “Looking: The Movie” giving a sneak peak into the reunions and drama that are in store for the show’s final goodbye after two seasons.

The trailer shows Patrick (Jonathan Groff) returning to San Francisco for a wedding after moving to Colorado. He meets up with old friends Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez), who is concerned about committing in his relationship, and Dom (Murray Bartlett).

Patrick also has some emotion-fueled encounters with ex-love interests Richie (Raúl Castillo) and Kevin (Russell Tovey).

The film airs on HBO on Saturday, July 23.

The DC Black Pride Opening Reception was held at the Westin DC Downtown on Friday, May 22. Grammy Award-winning artist Durand Bernarr was the headline performer. Comedian Anthony Oakes was the host. Speakers included Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson and Center For Black Equity President Kenya Hutton, as well as speakers from health organizations and sponsors. The event featured performances from Billy the Goat, Jay Columbus, Akeem Woods, Rue Pratt, Be Steadwell and Bennu Byrd.
