Disney star Ross Lynch to portray Jeffrey Dahmer
‘Teen Beach’ actor will play serial killer as a teen

Disney Channel star Ross Lynch has been cast as a young Jeffrey Dahmer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Lynch, 20, will portray Dahmer in his teen years for the indie flick “My Friend Dahmer.” The film, directed and written by Marc Meyers, is an adaptation of the graphic novel series by John “Derf” Backderf.
The series is set in the ’70s through the perspective of Backderf, a childhood friend of Dahmer’s. It follows the infamous serial killer from the age of 12 until his first murder, committed two weeks after his high school graduation. Dahmer would go on to rape and murder 17 men and boys into the early ’90s.
Lynch is best known as the star in the Disney Channel movie “Teen Beach Movie” and in the series “Austin & Ally.” He is also a member of pop-rock band R5.
Equality Prince William Pride was held at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, Va. on Saturday, May 16.

Ashley Biden accepts award for Beau Biden at annual Rehoboth fundraiser
The 19th annual Blade Foundation Summer Kickoff Party was held on Friday, May 15 at Diego’s in Rehoboth Beach, Del. An award presentation was held for former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden. Ashley Biden accepted the award on her brother’s behalf and gave remarks. Other speakers included Delaware state Rep. Claire Snyder-Hall, CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director Dr. Robin Brennan and Washington Blade Editor Kevin Naff. The event was a fundraiser for the Steve Elkins Memorial Fellowship in Journalism.
